Handling fee

This article will show you:
1. How to add a handling fee to shipping charges.

You need this because:
1. You want to add an additional fee to shipping charges.

Description
1. Log in to the administrator panel and select "Shipping-->Methods-->View/Edit".
2. Click on the "Edit" link for the shipping method which needs a handling fee.


3. In the field labelled "Flat Fee" add the amount that should be added as a handling fee.


4. Select the "Save this shipping" button to save.


5. Do this for each shipping method where a handling fee is required.

The handling fee will now be added to the shipping amount shown to the shopper (this is not a separate line item).  Handling fees can be added to both real time shipping and calculated shipping.
