How can I temporarily close my store?
This article will show you:
1. How to temporarily close a store.
You need this because:
1. You want to stop shoppers from ordering temporarily due to vacation, out of stock, back order etc.
Description
1. Log in to the administrator panel and select
"General-->Other Settings"
2. Under the heading labelled
"Store Active"
choose the
"CLOSED"
option
3. Select the
"Save Changes"
button
Once the store is marked as closed a link is shown to edit the content of the store closed page.
The store closed page will be shown to all shoppers while the store is closed and it is a good place to put a message to shoppers about why the store is closed and when it will reopen.
