How do customers login?

Description
A manual login is not necessary, d
uring the normal course of the purchase process the customer will be automatically asked to login and/or create an account. If the store requires a login the shopper will be asked to login before continuing. In addition, t
he default store template has a text link that says, "Login” positioned along with the other store links.
The "Login” text is a link to the login page, ie check_out.asp where the customer can create a new account or login to an existing account.
If a new visitor selects the
"Login”
or
"My Account”
button/link in the menu bar they will be taken to the login page where they can either login or create a new account.
If a pre-login is needed there are a few methods that can be used:
Add a small login box to the store template using the Login Box object in the template builder
Add the
%OBJ_LOGIN_OBJ% variable in the template header/footer
Use the Login link that is already included in the template
