This article will show you: 1. How to create multiple shipping locations. You need this because: 1. You want to setup different shipping rate rules based on the location that an item is shipped from. 2. You need to calculate real time shipping correctly for an item shipping from a different location. Description: Internally the system will create a default shipping location that all items will automatically be assumed to ship from. The default location uses the store address. 1. Log in to the administrator panel and select "Shipping-->Locations-->Add" 2. In the "Name" field enter the name of shipping location. The name is for internal use only, shoppers will not see it. 3. In the *"Country", "State"* and *"Zip/Postal code"* fields enter the associated information for this location. 4. Select the *"Add this location"* button to save Once a new shipping location is added a new option is available when creating/editing shipping methods to specify which locations the shipping method is valid for an on the item screen which location the item is coming from. **A single location can be selected for each item. Shoppers will see a separate shipping drop down for each location at checkout.
