How can a customer change their own password?
This article will show you:
How to allow store shoppers to change their own password.
You need this because:
1. You want to allow store customers to change their passwords or other information
STEPS:
The
"
Modify My Account"
page, ie
"modify_my_account.asp"
allows customers who are logged in to change
their information including email, password, phone number, shipping and billing address etc. The
"Modify My Account"
page can be added to the template navigation for easy customer access or it can be linked to from any existing page where it is needed. If a customer is not logged in when accessing the modify_my_account.asp page they will first be asked to login before continuing.
For further assistance on editing the template to include the modify_my_account.asp page see the
Navigation button and link tutorial
